engine and drivetrain WOOO, got a free car yesterday.

Sure is easy to work on the engine, got it running this afternoon seemed pretty smooth. I really had to do some mickey-mousing to get the radiator out away from the fan. as soon as I can find a decent way to mount the radiator, I was gonna take it around the block th check the tranny.

Can't beat free.

The whole thing is going to be cut up, so if you want a piece of it and can come and get it, just holler I'm in Elizabeth City NC. I'm probably going to keep the motor/tranny and some misc parts, but pretty much every thing else is going.

I need a a piece of the sheetmetal cut from the drivers side quater panel. It would go from teh edge of the door sill back to half-way through the wheel well. I can send a pic if it would help. Thanks.

maybe I should have been a little more descriptive of why it was free. It's been sitting in a field in NC at least a year that I know of, who knows how long before that.

It has pretty good rot in the standard places, some body panels are ok, and there's no visible rust on the rear wheelwells. Doors are a maybe.

trunkfloor is gone. All that's left of the interior is the drivers seat and the base of the pass seat, but it smells so moldy and dank in there, I don't think they're worth salvageing.

FL02: only mod parts are a 32/36 and a pair of 19mm swaybars.

Grover: only vapor tank is the plastic jobber in the trunk, is that the one you're looking for? engine emission stuff up front is gone.

the only trim left is what you can see in the pix. I only took it for the drivetrain and some little knickknack bits.
