after reseaching hole locations for the knee trim i found in mike macartneys book that the knee trim angles down as it gets to the rear of the car. that it to say it drops a few mm's from the natural body line. ive never noticed this with the naked eye. if i hadnt looked i would have lined it up with the body line and been wrong

Hi Blunt, I just try to make it line up with the end of the long 72-73 bumpers for aesthetics. Never thought about just following the body line.

knee trim going down a few mm's in the rear? I can't find it.

I just had them drill out the putty in the old holes since I didn't need to replace the 1/4 panels. When it's all attached I plan on drawing a line and drill the 2 front ones for the fenders. Gotta make sure it's all lined up. Too bad it's already painted. I guess I'll just paint the fresh metal w/ nailpolish or something.
