I spent 3 weeks doing some work for National Australia Bank back in 2000. I rented a car one weekend and drove down the Great Ocean Rd. Got a speedking ticket heading into Geelong, where the road goes from 100 KPH to 70. The cop told me to take the $100 I would pay for the ticket and buy my wife a souviner and to consider my ticket a souviner as they would not come to the US and arrest me.

Only time I ever had a cop tell me not to pay a ticket!

Anyway, I love your side of the world. I stopped at the Geelong Beach before heading down to the 12 Apostles.

The Melbourne area is one place I would move to!
