Anyone have a photo of one? I want to paint my orig. golf 72 siennabraun kinda in memory of my beloved 76. Want it to be period correct also. I know the color chart says 71-75 - but ive never seen one so i was curious.

Metallic = Polaris, Baikal, Nachtblau, Tundra.

12/72 brochure shows:

Metallic = Ceylon, Polaris, Fjord, Taiga, Baikal, Turkis, Nachtblau.

I've never seen a roundie painted that color as an OEM paint job.

No. Siennabraun is for 1974 and newer squaries. The brochure for '74 show a nice Siennabraun car.

Consider non-metallic "Nevada" as a vintage-correct alternative.

They look like the same wheels that Danuel (Arkansas) has on his car (see Skip's post). The two photos were shown on the Ebay auction, and it appears he had different rims on the other side of the car!!!!! Maybe the 17" rims were a result of photoshop?

Siennabraun was only available in the US on square tail light cars. BMW offered a color similar to it though called Ceylon. This color was only found on round tail cars and is a rare color....probably because it's not the best looking color on an 02 (my opinion anyway)....

I agree w/Barfola. Why put siennabraun on a roundie? Use a rare, interesting color you don't see so much if it's gonna be a color change. How's about: maisgelb, turkis, ceylon, or no, I know nobody would paint it sahara. haha!
