What's a Weber 38/38 worth?

I found one on a salvage yard car with gear-driven throttle. I suppose the intake could come with it. I popped the air cleaner off and it looked like clean down the barrels and the linkage moved smoothly. I haven't negotiated a price yet...what's it worth?

Depends on the choke and condition. I'd say manual or water chokes are most desirable, then electric last. also you can't vouch for the condition, jets, etc. so it will need a full rebuild. I'd say maybe $50 or $100 to the right person. If you can get it for $25 I'd do it in a second!
