tires and wheels cromodora wheels

I'm looking for a set of the old style cromodora 5 spoke wheels, I would like to find some in 14 inch (did they ever make them in 14?) I think they were magnesium? If the 14's never happened i'd settle for 13's. are these still available new or recon anywhere? I would also be ok with very good condition used ones. I'm runnin' 14in bottle caps right now, eibachs and bilstein sports, no rolled fenders or flares. sorry I have no pictures of the wheels at this time. any help would be fantastic. thanks

Here are some 13" 5 spoke Chromadora's, they ain't cheap. At that price, your bottlecaps are looking pretty good. Usual disclaimers apply

I've only seen one set of 14" 4x100 cromodora daytonas.

ATS makes a similar mag style wheel.

The ATS five-spokes look similar, if you can find them.

That price is really very reasonable, IMO.

Buy a used set of wheels...

...if you can find four of them...

...then...

...consider the cost of refinishing a wheel is about $180/$200ea.

...times four...

...then...

...find the centercaps.

That's $1200 well spent, IMO.

I'm going to refinish a set of Cosmics in the near future. I couldn't do it for much less than the cost of those Cromodoras.

On the other hand, I have a set of Minilite "Sport" (doublefin) wheels, that didn't need refinishing. The price was reasonable, the shipping from California was not. The machine work, centercaps and lugnuts set me back $250. I have about $800 in the deal, including swapping tires. I'm very pleased, and consider this a true bargain.

Russ, what color and offset are your ATS? Mine are gold, with et13 offset. I am looking for a solution that is a better fit on the 2002.
