Does the Yamabond come apart should you need it to in the future?

Also, I wonder if a Yamaha store might carry it (getting phone book)

Many people like Loctite/Permatex Ultra Gray. It almost sounds like similar stuff.

could very well come out of the same spigot. who knows?

Taste like crap...but Yamabond, Hondabond and Threebond are all the same, any Hylomar sealer will work. Key is non-hardening, oil, gas and high temp resistant and vibration resistant as well. Many choices. But I have to say, Yama(Honda)bond is readily available at most motorcycle shops and does the trick.

About to go get some Yamabond for the timing chain cover gasket, should I get Yamabond 4 or Yamabond 5?

Thanks

I just found out 5 is a hardening sealer and 4 is the one you want if you ever want to get the parts off again. ...needless to say I went with 4 as advised. Now if I can just get my head bolts, I'll be in business.
