Just noticed that Jaymic have h4 headlamp lenses as well as 'regular' lenses listed in their catalogue. What's the difference? Any reason why I shouldn't be using h4's behind non h4 lens?

instead of replacing the entire headlamp as with sealed beams, you only replace the bulb itself. the whole thing here is that sealed beams are meant to throw away when they burn out so basically they suck ass -- h4 headlamps have a reflector that is meant to be reused so it is typically of a much higher quality.

thanks - i know this as I'm using h4's. The catalogue has :

"headlamp lens upto & after '71"

"headlamp lens h4 after '73"

Maybe there is a compatability problem with early/late model cars?
