"Bolt on" gearshift for the 5-speed 240 conversion

It's from a -87 E28 518i. My english knowledge's not enough to know exactly what you mean about crank mounts, but if it has something to do with fitting the 2002 speedo cable, it don't fit.

I suppose that if the price is right, I'd let it go. As for now, I just want it to get me through grad school. After that, I plan to see just how much rust and bondo the PO allowed on the car before paint. Then I'll decide wether to repair or find another body.

Crank sensor mounts....for an engine with crankshaft-triggered timing.

It is of an S14 engine upgrade. The crankshaft sensor mounts were removed from an E30 M3 transmission and mounted in the 5 speed transmission in the 2002.

What engine are you using? Does the Getrag 240 have these mounts?

No, the Getrag 240 doesn't have these mounts. I'm using an M10 engine with EFI and turbo. I'm gonna get the crankshaft timing from the crank pulley.

In one of the pictures, you show 3 differentials. The left is a limited slip, what year are the other two differentials?

I am just wondering because the middle differential has cup flanges, where as the right differential has straight flange (just like the limited slip flanges).

Does anyone know why they are different?
