Hey fellas-

picked up a 74tii today and I found a few live broken wires that have no home.

-The location of the wires are right next to the drivers side motor mount.

-They run through a ring that is attached to the block. There are two strands of wires coming through a tan outer sleeve and the ring.

-One strand is attached to the starter and the other strand looks to be about a 10Gauge red wire with 3 14? guage black wires in the same bunching.

I brought all of my tools with me....except for my manual. DOH! I have a few other things to do, but will check back to see if any of you have some ideas. Thanks fellas-

Hi,

the wires in that loom come from the inner fender on the driver side and go to:

1/ the starter, one black wire

2/ the temp sender, one wire that is brown and green

3/ the alternator, one wire large red to the main output lug

on th back of the alternator

three wires that go to the plug for the

voltage regulator lite blue and two

black wires.

on the plug there is letters that match each opposite plug

FIRST DISCONNECT THE BATTERY POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE
