This is the door mirror used on BMW's through 1969; 1500, 1600, 1800, 2000, and 2002. "McMil" scored an NOS one on german ebay and e-mailed me a bit earlier, so just a major thanks to Neil. I'll take the aftermarket black door mirrors off and go with the original look, just the driver side door mirror. The black ones are in great shape by the way and they fold in, rubber base gaskets are good too. I'll post a photo or two of them when they are off and if anyone wants them, they can have them, don't know the manufacturer though.

Neil would e-mail me now and then and mentioned a few weeks ago that he thought he finally landed one. I'll have to repaint the passenger upper door now, after taking the aftermarket mirror off of that side. The current mirror on the driver door is mounted under the vent window and on the '69 2000 that's where the oem style mirror mounts, as seen on my 1969 2000 owners manual as well, whereas on older NK's, it's mounted closer to the door edge. Pretty cool though, even though it's only a 2000 that really has little value as far as vintage BMW's go, nice to get an original door mirror as the rest of the car is basically original.

available by themsleves? I have two beautifully refurbished mirrors, but no decent base gaskets.
