Well. looks like it's time to change the brushes in my blower motor. Bearings are good, things turn freely and no play. Brushes are shot though. SO, question is, how do the brush holders come out? I'm thinking i might be able to unclip and unhook them without pulling the box. I can get my hands in there.

Would someone take a pic of an out of car box for me? That would help :) Or just describe if the brushes come out and how.

Happy 02ing.

WHERE DID YOU GET BRUSHES??? Moot point now because I ended up putting a new motor in. They will come off but it's hard because of the way they clip in. It's easiest to use a screwdriver. Sorry I don't have any pics. Hope you find a way to swap 'em out without taking out the motor

A friend pulled some serviceable ones from a motor with bad bearings. They can easily be made from alternator brushes too...
