Tomorrow I start installing the new door seals. Any advice?

Is it best to spot adhear the gaskets or continueously adhear them?

Is there a best place to start?

I've heard it can take the better part of a day to get them right. I haven't installed the interior door panels or "door top" window seals yet should they be in place before installing the door seals?

Thank you in advance.

they are pretty easy. the door seal was too snug and I sliced a bit off in the area where the door closes, on the top of door where it meets the rectangular window it was getting pinched. as far as glue, it is barely needed since it gets pinched in when the black strip that fits in snaps back in. the rear gasket goes in similarly an starts from the bottom and goes up. there will be a bit (2-3 inches) gets trimmed off in the end. I noticed that I didn't push it into its groove when I was done and had to redo it at the sharp angle about 3 inches from the bottom. I did not use any glue for that gasket. the glue I used was in a can with a brush and was called landau top and trim glue, great stuff that I got at a shop that installes headliners and upholstery, best of luck Al. P. S. the glue isn't really needed and makes redooing it more difficult in case there is a problem.

Thank you. I'll try installing it with out the glue. I had to glue the trunk seal so I assumed I would need to glue the others. I can't remember if the origional seals were glued. Come to think of it I don't think they were. I still have them so I'll check.

I did need to caulk the upper corners of the windshield and rear window seals. Between the seal and the car body.

Thanks again.
