I wanted to wait until they were actually in my hand before I bragged. I got 2 compleat Hella license tag lights with all lenses, hardware, bulbs, and rubber seals for $27 including shipping. And the guy appologized that the mounting screws were not new as well. I painted the bracket flat black before I remounted all the hardware and tested it. Today I stop at the BMW dealer on the way home to get the new dome light I ordered.

A good week!

I see alot of people bragging about purchases they've made on ebay. I appretiate there bargin hunting but for just a few dollars more you can buy the same parts from your local specialist ( who really need our support ). Plus you get the benefit of needing, driving, and getting it no shipping no waiting. If we dont support our local specialist they wont be around when we really need them.

I agree but ebay is the place when the local guy doesn't have some of the hard to find parts or there IS no local guy.

SUPPORT THE LOCAL GUY (when you can)!

i'd guess many of "our local specialists" are avid ebayers

If you read the message it said I also ordered a new dome light at my "local" BMW dealer ($54 and then they send it without a bulb!).

So if you don't mind I will continue to find the best deal and buy from whoever I please. I support me and the free market system not the "poor local business owner" who needs my sales to survive.

I have Purchased parts from BMW, 2002 AD, BravAuto, Maximillian, bimmer doc, all the local auto stores, multiple E-bay sellers, FAQ members and tons I am sure I have missed, so don't preach to me about where I buy and how much I pay for a product!!!!

Wow what a group.

Sorry Mike didn't mean to strike a cord with you, I understand that you have to look out for yourself. It is just that I see alot of people paying more for an item on ebay than they have to. Just because they think they'er getting a deal, in the mean time the local guy that would have given an honest price misses the sale.
