Who really cares about smog crap on a roundie (seriously) I can't deal with it. If anyone is interested when the time comes to sell, I will give them packed in a box. I also putting in a weber car in there.

1. Now about those holes I will have to plug, specially the one on the manifold, and other I might oversee, what do you recommend? I have the plate to plug the intake manifold hole just below the carb & and a bunch of rubber plugs.

2. There are two wires on the solex carb, which one of them is the one that plugs to the weber? (it has only one electrical plug at the solenoid)

3. What about the return line, how should I deal with it ?

I am sure I will have more to come, so please be patient and help me out.

Thanks

Wee bit of a guess here, but the two wires to the carb should be (i) idle solenoid and (ii) electric choke. Both should have +12V when the ignition switch is in the run position, unless the choke is on some kind of a timer. You could easily verify this with a meter. I have a Solex carb, but it came in a box with my car and I haven't looked at it for several years.

Most folks just disconnect the fuel return line when installing a Weber, and let it lie fallow... maybe plug it up so crap doesn't get in it.
