I have been installing, tuning and modifying Webers for thirty plus years. Today I had the perfect car in to try the magic trick. I was skeptical about the jetting and didn't even try to understand the blocking off part, but the test drive was simply amazing. The car in question is a one owner 74, stock except for a 32/36. Get this, it has 600, 000 miles on it. One owner, well loved and cared for. This car has never run this good. I can always feel the transition from primary to secondary with the customary bog on all 2002s with a 32/36. They all do that, yeah, right! This one is seamless all the way to 6 grand. I don't throw out praise very often, believe me. This was one of the best mods I have ever tried on a 2002. I hope the gas mileage doesn't suffer much. I am sure the owners will report back. Thanks for sharing!

but i kinda like the transition and i dont think mine bogs while doing, but i have nothing to compare to, the transition is kinda like the feeling of a turbo coming on, or an engine hitting the cam sweet spot, so will i loose it if jet it like CD?

I've been driving my 02 while the E28 is sick. So Yeah, I noticed exactly that yesterday, a good long pull right to 6k! :) I apparently have the weber prescription setup on my car too... (po installed)
