There is a hose that I think is the return line that the PO capped off. This is *not* the blue line, but rather the metal line (with short runs of rubber line). I assume it's the same line that comes out of the top of the gas tank, right next to the clear feed line. I have heard that if you plug this line, it will cause vapor lock. Then I heard that it needs to be plugged if there is no charcoal canister (there is not).

It seems like I get some vapor lock when trying to start the when it's hot.

Anyone know for sure? Having an open line in the engine bay seems freaky, buy hey, I am used to freaky after having this car awhile.

The tank vent line comes out of the filler neck inside the trunk. Vent somewhere to the outside safely.

The return line comes out of the task near the sender. Plug it right at the tank.
