The car looks great! What mods have you done to it and what are your future plans? Was the twin headlight things from the factory or did you put them on? Again, looks great :-D

Hello Tom , Thank you for helping I got there in the end !!

We only purchased the car about 2 months ago, The story of it goes around 12 years ago it was a complete wreck ( we have some pics ) , Some mad chap decided to do a complete concours restoration , I mean I am not complaining but looking at the photos and the bills he just must of been mad. Thankfully it has a photographic record and was done correctly . Then the car was purchased about 6 years ago by a chap that wanted a car for his son to gain racing experence in before moving him on to his expensive collection. So the car was race prepared. Nothing else was done though apart from what was needed ( cage / harness/ extinguisher etc ) this was then raced for a season in a uk historic saloon championship. Looking at the photos I am sure it would of made some people cry to see everthing ripped out and had a cage put in?.

Anyway , Now we have purchased it , We are planning on running it in a uk series called " Top hat racing " which has 70`s saloon endurance style races. we are now trying to complete the racing transformation by changing everthing to race spec and losing lots of weight. Would you believe it did 9 races with 6 airhorns under the bonnet?!!?

The twin light conversion was done during the restoration Tom.

Am I boring you yet!?!? ;O)

Nice car Daj, cant believe you're going to throw her into racing - I would be far too precious about such a lovely car! Fair play to you! Where abouts do you live? I shall look out for you if I catch any of the top hats this year and give you a cheer. Good luck with her

under the hood and inside.

Great stuff - and it is a very nice 'off-beat' color

Do you folks 'over there' have a line on or over abundunce

of 4-headlite parts for 02's? seems like a lot of the

vintage Monte Carlo rallye cars also had 4-eyes.
