I did a bunch of work the past few weeks and now that the car is back together the steering will pull to one side or the other depending on which direction I turned the wheel last. Example, if I round a left hand turn, after the turn the car will pull to the left. same goes for the right. If i drive straight for a while the car will not pull.

Here is what I have done. I replaced all tierod ends, had Ireland Engineering bend some negitive camber into my strut housings, installed Ireland Engineering sway bars, front and back.

Now, this being said, everything has been rechecked a few times, there are no loose tierod ends (i also got the alignment done this afternoon, so its not that either). The only thing i can think of is maybe I did something wrong with the sway bars, perhaps put the front on upside down. It seemed that I did it right, and it seemed the only way it would fit, but now im second guessing myself.

Any Ideas would help, just bounce them off me.

aslo, if anyone has photos of the front Ireland sway bar installed, please post it so I can see if I do indeed have it reversed.

THanks,

Morgan

What the "schnell" was that?!

When you put the struts back together, did you take note of a large washer at the top? Its not actually flat..although pretty close. If they are not in the right way..it will cause binding and could pull as you describe.

There was a pic of the whole assembly showing the washers and the right orientation, but I can't seem to find it right now. Anyone?

I once tightened my steering box too tight and the car did not want to recenter after a turn.
