5 spd Clutch line: Which one?

I've got a 5 spd (o/d) in my 70 2002 and I just blew out the rubber clutch line. Which one do I buy to replace it?

A BMW shop friend of mine helped me install the transt, and, I'm afraid that I don't know which parts he used. There's a clear line, from which car, I don't know, that runs about halfway from the clutch master to the clutch slave, then connects to the rubber line from an 84-85 318i. The rubber line is what blew....I'm having trouble finding a new one.

So, two options:

Does anyone have a clutch line from a 84-85 318i?

What is usually used here and where can I get it?

Supposedly an e28 535i clutch line will work. I'm getting ready to do the 5 spd swap and was told that it is just the right length and has correct fittings. Can anyone confirm?
