I found an Early E28 steering wheel at the PYP.. sooo.. I made it work for the 2002! Always loved these steering wheels, and I perfet the 3-spoke one with the horn button in the middle... too bad I don't have that one anymore.

Basically you measure the diameter of the 02's horn ring, measure on the wheel and drill to match. I had to take a blade and cut the insulation on the wire that would connect to the horn ring thing, and connect that spring loaded button's wire and solder. not too tough though.

What about the splines. I tried to do the same thing and found that the splines on the newer wheel are a lot finer than the stock.
