engine and drivetrain 72 2002 fuel pump

Hi

Could anyone please suggest where to look for a fuel pump kit or complete pump to suit 72 2002 if they are available?

I am in Australia but anywhere would be ok.

Transmission rebuild seems ok had some minor rust cut out currently at the paint shop getting the rust repairs touched up.

My car's pump was replaced with an electronic pump in the engine bay off the manifold, so I figured my mechanical one was bad. Anyway, I found another one off a running junkyard car, cleaned it and relaced my old one. Then I put the old one, in the parts cleaner that I cleaned the junkyard mech pump with, and eventually got the old one working fine. It seems that if the pump sits the little pump lever gets gummed up and and be fixed w/ some carb cleaner or parts cleaner. Try and push it in and stuff should shoot out the top. Keep pushing the lever until it's free and it should work OK (at least as a backup-if you get a new one).

I know that this may not be the direction that you are going but a 3.5 psi electronic one from your local speed shop will work.
