How to remove Inst. Cluster? T-Stat Question.

So it seem that the problem with my o2's temp guage twitching may be a problem with the grounding. Well I do appreciate all the advice regarding this problem, but I was wondering how do I get to the Instrument Cluster? How do I remove it? I have yet to really look into it, but I was wondering if you guys could give me a clue.

Additionally, since I am having this problem with my temp, I'd might as well look at my t-stat. Is there a particular temp that I should get? Thanks....Dave.

Remove covers under steering wheel, reach uder and remove 2 round knurled bolts, loosen speed-o cable and wiggle cluster out.

have fun, might as well take it apart and clean it while you have it out

kind of a simple set up.

are grounds he has added. Sometimes this is the only way to cure twitchy gauges.

I'll climb under there tonight if I have a chance. Not a good feeling driving around with the temp guage reaching for the sky like that. Like I said the car seem to be running fine, the tach seem to be a bit twitcher since this problem arose. I'll let you guys know once I've grounded everything out if it was the bug.

Talk to you later...Dave.

I went though the same EXACT anxiety years ago. Temp. creeping up. Needles fluctuateing when the turn signals OR headlights on,etc.

The pic. I took with the added grounds solved EVERYTHING.
