Oil Pressure gage

Are any oil pressure gages available that actually fit the 12mm by 1.5 thread in the oil pressure switch location? I bought a sender cheeepo (Sunpro)and it had a 10mm by 1.0 thread for about $15 I tracked down an adaptor to make it work and it was about $25 just for the adaptor fitting. Thanks for any help

I bought one from O'Reilly Auto. It was a special order, but it only took 1-day and cost less than $5.

Hi you might look into vw cabrio's and GTI's many had VDO oil pressure gauges from factory and have sensors that look very similar to the one's used in 02's. I would say I'm 95% sure the sending units from vw would thread into the 02 plus it would have a factory appearance

The best solution is to buy the adapter and the two post sender. One for the idiot light, and one for the gage. I know this ain't cheap, but it works and that's the real reason to care about oil pressure right???

Hmm, I bought the 0-100 gage, and I dont see a 2 post sender for it. Doh!

Time to make a custom transistor circuit to control the idiot light based on voltage.
