Ok, so I got some sway bars from jeff ireland and had him bend about 1.5 degrees of negitive camber into my front tii strut housings. I know now that I need a wheel spacer. But they are closed until monday and I am just wondering what size wheel spacer I need. The wheel is rubbing the struts.

Also, does anyone else that has his sway bars have some photos of what it looks like on their car? Mine look really close to the thrust rod.

Thanks,

Morgan

What the "schnell" was that?!

thanks. Ill look into it. How much clearance do you have? Im running et30's bottlecaps from an E21, and 195 55 14's before all this I was rubbing the tierod end a little. Would half an inch be way too much of a spacer considering the fender isnt rolled?

I have basket weaves with 195 60 14's. I'd say I have about a 1/4 inch of clearance considering the wheels wouldn't spin w/o the spacers. Fender clearance isn't an issue but I think I may have tugged on them a bit in the past. No rubbing anywhere at this point.

If you're running 320 hubs it's easy to put in longer studs, but if you're still using 2002 hubs, you'll need to order longer studs to get a safe amount of thread with bottlecaps- they're almost too thinck for the stock studs as it is.

That said, I suspect that you'll need at LEAST 1/4" with bent struts, and possibly more...
