Michael will chime in I'm sure, but the Supersprint headers are Alpina header copies, which is what I thnk you are looking for (and what I believe Michael out on his A4). As for my A4, I got used Alpina headers for about the price of new Supersprint. If you're interested in that route, I would check with some of the rare 2002 parts vendors in Germany (Cahsel, etc.).

All this is pricey, when compared to what a set of used Stahl headers cost. But if price was the key factor, who would own an A4? In fact, who in their right mind would own an A4 anyway?

on all counts. The header is Supersprint, got it from BMP on sale 10% off ($600). Just be aware that it WILL NOT fit. Before installation you must grind the steering idler top nut for clearance. I wished someone had warn me on this tiny detail. I believe your A4 will benefit from it, as it will increase your low end. One more thing, cut off the studs before installing the header, they don't fit anything available. Another tiny detail.
