votes for best summer tire?

Well I am going to be buying new tires for my 1600, looking for opinions on the best summer compound tires. My first guess would be Bridgestone Potenza s-03's not sure they come in my size though.

I have 205-55 (I think) on 13" x 6" Minilites; car is lowered somewhat with Bilstien sports. The tires are absolutely great on dry pavement. In rain? Wouldn't know.

what did your minilites go for? I am leaning that way, cheap grip. I don't think my car will ever see rain either, damn front quarter window won't close all the way....

I have run the s-03s and the Eagle GS d3s (very nice tire) my only complait are the tread patterns, I miss the old blocky look of the p700zs.

The new slashed style just don't look right on an 02. Very sticky though.

195/60/14 Falken azenis if you are running weaves or butt-caps. These tires STICK and they are pretty cheap too!

I've got a new set of 205/50/15 Azenis Sports for my 323i, but have not used them yet. Heard nothing but good things, though. I have Falken 451's on my 533, and I love them to death. Smallest sizes ar 16" though.

I would suggest either a Falken Azenis, or a Yoko ES100.

Yokohama AVS ES-100, Toyo Proxes T1-S, and Dunlop SP Sport 8000. You won't get any of those (or anything else decent) for 13 inch wheels. With 14 you have a chance, and with 15 you have a choice.

, and, after running Yokos for more than 15 yrs., I'm now running Falken Azenis 195/60x14s and am impressed and pleased by their performance.

Yoko's for years,now Falken Azenis 195-60-14,love um. Handle much better, less sterring effort , I love the way they look and they are CHEAP!
