I'd probably prefer to pick up a set of Eibachs or H&R's, but at 170 bucks it's almost too good to pass up... What's the drop on ST's again? 1/2"?

....isn't all that great. Shox.com has ST's all day long for $175

But, I'm in your same boat.........what to buy, WHAT to buy?

I'm leaning Eibach's (1" drop) along w/ Bilstein Sports.

I figured I'd call the 800 # (call anytime!) for shox.com, and just learned that Eibach has discontinued their springs for the '02. So much for that, then! I guess the other option is the H&R's... the H&R's are progressive, aren't they? That would be an added benefit... Either way it'd be a good match for my Bilstein HD's.

Seller has 15 sets of Eibach's for just over $243+ incl. shipping.

Now are Eibach's progressive or linear?

No affiliation w/ Ebay seller....

Eibach springs have sagged to hell in EVERY 02 I've ever seen with them. Also way too soft. I loved my ST springs in my 76.

They have extra "dead" coils to make up the spacing difference. ST's suck IMO and don't lower the car much at all and will leave your front end sticking up higher that the rear even without the DOT spacers. At least on my 73' they did that. Eibachs give the car too much rake.

Combined with Bilstein HDs and the assorted swaybars, etc.... They provide a VERY welll balanced ride between maximum mechanical grip and ride comfort. Lowering is just about right for my wheel tire setup, and I"d reccomend them to anyone.
