I bought a newer tii longblock that was pretty complete. I thought about keeping my old motor as a spare but I'm thinking of selling the Kugelfischer parts off of it and just rebuilding the block itself and possibly the head.

Can anyone give me an estimate on how much I should be asking for

Kugelfischer pump w/lines and injectors

Intake manifold w/throttlebody

Intake Can

Also, how can you tell if a distributor is in working condtion without hooking it up? I might have a spare TII dizzy as well.

I realize you also need the pump but I'm not selling that.

This went on ebay for

US $177.50

From parted out 1973 2002tii. TII KUGELFISCHER INTAKE MANIFOLD in excellent shape. Throttle body feels tight and moves freely. All 4 injectors are included still in the manifold, don't know condition.

if that helps

I sold a similar package about a year ago on ebay that went for a little over $800. I knew the pump worked and also threw in all the linkage and tii wiring stuff.

Thanks guys, those figures were pretty much inline with what I was finding on the net.

You can probably get upwards of a grand for it. I sold one back in the summer on ebay and ended up with $925 in my pocket.

You would be very surprised at the range of prices. New from BMW, the pumps were around 4grand, and are now NLA. I understand they are getting upwards of $500/injector now, though I have not checked personally. I know of people who have held on to several complete systems, watching the market.

On the other hand, you will see them on eBay for alot less. But the bargain hunters get burned, once they find out how much they need to pay for the "missing parts".

Unless you really need the cash, I'd hold on to your complete system as it becomes more and more valauble. If you really have all the parts, there is little need to be shy. It should fetch $1500-2000 or more...

Beware: There were some "pumps" on the market which were blems (incorrect delivery output for a tii). These were being sold as new for $500, and I've needed to fix the problems on too many occasions.
