front strut bearings

Lemfoerder or Meyle. It's my understanding that they were both OE. Does anyone know which one, if either has longer studs? There is a $10 difference in price at Bimmer Parts. With a strut bar and camber plates will I need the longer studs? Any strut bearings available with sealed bearings.

It's my understanding that there was a european version for use w/o spacers and an american strut bearing with longer studs for use with the required spacers. Since I'm using both camber plates and a stress bar, I just want to be safe and get the longer studs. I'll try Zygmut. Thanks.

.......that I've seen from US suppliers, have unsealed bearings and

about 0.5" studs. This is regardless of manufacturer.

If you find something different, let us know and bring them

to a PNW2002 club meeting.

I think you'll be fine with OEM with a strut bar. The camber plates give me some pause. If only because I want to buy some and run with them also.

Lemforder was an OEM company and has good quality. Meyle has been putting some upgraded parts out on the market and have really built up their reputation.

Either should be fine.
