I'm picking up my soon to be new 74 - but it has a weak clutch. This weekend is the only time i can get it - and i dont want to drive back with a weak clutch. I have a broken hand, so i cant help TOO much - but i'll pay someone to essentially do it for me and me watch :)

I have one suggestion for you if you have a weekend mechanic doing the job. Get some studs that are the same diameter as the top two bolts that hold the bell housing to block so that you can use them as guides when you re-install the transmission. It makes it so much easier to stab the tranny input shaft into flywheel/clutch assembly. If you cannot find studs, simply cut the heads off of a couple of long bolts.
