Don't know about 2 pins versus 3 pins. There are two versions with 3 pins where the pins are in different locations.

different styles--one has a flat back to fit the flat rear body panel on a roundie; the squarelights mount their 2002 badges on the curved section just below the trunk lid, so the back of those badges is curved. No sure about the number of mounting pins, but I seem to recall that my flat back 2002 badges have 3 pins...

Looks like you are missing a hole over toward the RH tail light.

Tom, good to see you are planning on finishing it off... Dont forget the trim between the lights:-)

Just seeing your plates, I am looking at getting my numberplates remade as enamel black and white like the classic Vic plates.

I will be getting prices in the next fe days, let me know if you are interested.

Yep trying to! But these dam holes are confusing me lol...

Trim piece is organised. The cop i met from Lara is giving me the piece for free :-D ...i might be down in Geelong/Queenscliffe this weekend.

I think i might pass on the plates, I dont mind the colours of these ones and gotta save for the wheels anyway! - Im selling off all the useless stuff on ebay lol. By the way, you could go the euro plate look ie. Bluey?

Also, if u can find a map of the yarra ranges that would be sweet coz i cant find a decent one :-(

By the way, theres historic racing at philip island this weekend. Wish i could go!

Cheers,

Tom

Oh yeah, I meant to ask if you were keeping in contact with that guy from Lara... I think he migh tbe the dude selling the white roundie on carpoint with the sunroof... not 100% sure though. There are a few 2002 owners in that neck of the woods.

I had a look at whereis, but I couldnt get a decent map. If we look at heading up through Lilydale towards Healesville, then head up to the road opposite the Ampol servo and head towards the Melba Hwy, that is the road I am talking about! It is sensational! If you head that way to the top of it, there is a general store. If you want, you then take the left at the top of the hill and head back to Marysville on the more popular windy or just head on to Kinglake via the Kinglake/St Andrews Rd.

Melway had a great map of it in the book.

Here is a map of where I was thinking - http://www.street-directory.com.au/sd_new/genmap.cgi?x=145.540624515768&y=-37.6862329053948&sizex=400&sizey=400&level=3&star=5&circle=

Between Healesville and Toolangi - the brown road though. The red road has a really great spot to take pictures from. Maybe if you are interested, I will take some shots of all the cars on the move there?

Like this:

Thats my old car - taken my my mate Micky...I love that shot. The red looks sensational against the green.

hmm, cop guy has a different Mob. number (cell, to the USA'ians), lol...we're nearly equalling the e30's on ecca ;-)

I got a fairly good one but it gets chopped off a fair bit and it doent have Toolangi on it. What page in the Melways was the map your talking about?

Sounds like your leading the pack when we go mate ;-)

I have spent all day driving up and down those two roads before - it really depends on how much people are interested in getting pics of their cars, or if they want to drive to a destination and spend some time having lunch...

Here is a link to some of the pics of my car on one day I spent up there...

I went off on a different day - this day was the best - we went on a clubMINI run up to healesville for breakfast, then ended up hanging out and decided to go for a drive with the two of us - we ended up finding snow and mucking around taking pics.

It actually wasnt that cold. It was a freezing night and the day was about 5ºc I was ina wooly jumper and only got out for about 10 mins... my hands were colder when I was making snow balls and putting ice on my intercooler for kicks :P
