I was hoping one of you voltures wouldn't take away this bargin....kept it quite until I got the car under my hand. Anyhow, 72 Verona that runs but needs work, some rust here and there but nothing serious. Period correct lisc plates front/rear and The best parts:

1 set of great looking chromodoras (debating to sell or not)

2. set of good looking flares (definitly for sale)

3. NOS ceter track rod / pair of tie rods

4. unknown to me MORSO brand oil cooler

5. Beautifull MOMO steering wheel with hub & BMW center (looks vintage to me)

6. weber 32/36

and more...

The guy who sold it was very very kind and dropped it off for me...all for an estimated expense of... (I wouldn't tell you guys because it is not fair). The next step I want to do is to remove the AC system and de-smog the car. I will need some help here so do mind me asking the many questions.

THOU SHALT DRIVE AN 02

Posted

I am not so sure about the parts... better yet for the whole thing. Part of me says you can save this car and drive it for a long time. But it is not an Inka, that is unless I get it painted INKA... to do that I will have to fund the project with other money, say like selling the parts I really really don't need like the Cromodora rims & the momo wheel. But then, there is a 99.99999 % chance that I will not see a cromodora on my car for a long long time. I will see how it is going to go.

If you decide to part with items off the car, then I am interested in the Cromodora wheels. I did see the car, but decided I didn't need another project and I wasn't interested in parting it out.

FWIW, I think I saw this car once before when it was in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa area. I am curious if it is the same car.

Good acquisition and congratulations.

please check the ignition switch for my ignition switch study...somewhere in early "second series" 1969 production the factory changed igntion switches from a smaller to a larger switch--the smaller switch has "Garage" stamped on the face while the later ones have "O" Let me know which one yours has, and the VIN number also.

I'm working on a column about ignition and door locks and need the info to complete my research..

TIA
