I have a lynx manifold, 45 weber and all linkages sitting in a box along side me right now... waiting for my car to come back to fit it... I'll give you are report in about early march :P

Im hoping it makes a great difference from the small weber replacment I have on the standard manifold right now.

I pulled #1 plug to check for compression stroke, I had the dizzy out 180deg, gave it a crank. She fired straight away, a bit rough and a real loud exhaust leak. I discovered it runs a lot smoother with plug #1 installed, not sitting on the bench. I timed it up with the timing light, tappets are noisy, need adjustment I think. But I found 2 water leaks, one under the inlet manifold, had to pull the manifold to fix it. Its off to get a roadworthy tomorrow. How did the jumping go? I bet it was hot in the sand. Beaner7102

Hey Shaun,

I was going to hold onto the manifold as I doubt I would get the money I wanted - spend a fortune on the carby getting it totally rebuilt abt 18months ago for $400. I spose if you really want it, I would get rid of it. I dunno what the thing is worth? Tom? I dont really know.

I dont have it with me right now, it is in Casterton with the car.
