Thanks to those who helped me with my Tii cold start trouble

I just want to thank everyone who helped me out with my cold start problems. It ended up being a loose wire on the cold start valve. I still need to adjust the warm up regulator a bit and even out my mixture but thanks to Martin of 2002tii Restoration I'm fairly sure I've got the resources available to get everything working right.

So, thanks everyone. This board saved me a lot of time and $$. (I was told by a shop here in Denver that my warm up reg. needed to be replaced...turned out to be the cold start valve).

Say i've been thinking about compiling a tii tech FAQ category & the cold start issue is one of the biggies.

Can you search back and post the urls of the messages that helped you on this one?

The plan is to just take the advice that sounds good and post it in the FAQ section.

So any good archived messages is the place to start I reckon & if you want to write up your experience that'd be cool too.

Glad to hear you're getting it sorted out. No rush to get the book and tools back. I still plan to make an alignment tool for you, but haven't had a chance.
