Some of you know me from over on bimmerforums under the same name but I figured I would post the car up on here as well. I have had the car since late august/ early october of 05 can't really recall. I am the third owner the car the PO had it for 15. It was in pretty good shape when i got it had a weber redline 32/36 a new head and upped compression to i believe the paper work said 9.5-1 or 10-1. On the inside it had some nice recaros from an e21 the back had been recovered with some cheap fabric to match. It also had brand new bilsteins all the way around.

I drove the car like this over here at WSU for about 2 months before it started getting crappy over here so back to the garage at my parents house it went. There it has begun a complete overhaul which is being well document. It began with the removal of the old interior which will be recovered also the car is going to be sand blasted and returned to the original malaga color or a sort of merlot variation of malaga with tan interior. Interesting when i was pulling the carpet i found underneath the worn out replacement some of the orginal carpet which was actually in better condition.

As I have been disassembling the car it appears to have undergone two repaints the color you see int he pics and a very purple color on top of the original malaga. Minus the spare wheel well we have yet to find any serious rust issues. The other major area of concern is the fact that someone hacked a good four inches off of the front to mount that spoiler which will not be finding it's way back on the car. Hope you all enjoy I can't wait to get her back on the road i miss driving her already.
