There seem to be some bad blood ont he board in the last couple weeks. Not sure if you guys don't like even numbered years or if this is Happy 4th anniversary to the FAQ and we are going through growing pains.

Due to this, I would like to remind you guys and gals of rule #4 and rule #5

4. Be polite. You will not get help if you are rude.

5. Take things with a light heart.

No, I can't. I won't apologize for being angry about having my name dragged through the mud by some idiot who never even bought anything from me. She's got every single fact wrong, and posted a blog about it. I'm about 6 seconds from getting a lawyer involved, and I'm pissed! Put yourself in my shoes for just a second.

since my visits here are less frequent than before, it took awhile to figure out the al/esty 'conflict' - but it is apparent this is what my grandma would call 'a tempest in a teapot'-

come on, be real! this is cyberspace, she's pyscho and he's arrogant- so what? he's killing me with the lawyer talk- what're the damages? how can he prove she's at fault? what difference does it make he didn't get back to her in a(her) timely manner? spend your money elsewhere, but there's no need to be a martyr about it.

january has been a great month. everybody here in socal is asshole/considerate in the same proportion as at least the last 20 years.

reason for infrequent visits- the new format doesn't work for me. just about all the fun is gone.

I guess I'll pop another comment in here for the record. I am not terribly angry anymore. I have done some searching, and found out that I am not the first business Esty has attempted to assasinate, and the 2002 community is not the first one she has used to attack people through. I've got a TON of evidence that tells me she does this on a regular basis. No need to post it, but if someone REALLY wants to see what Esty LaCroix does in her spare time, drop me a note. I don't mind sharing. Some of it is very good reading.

Robert, I have noticed you absent from the board lately, along with several others. Even I was quiet for a while, as I find the new format a bit frustrating as well. Seems that lots of old timers are gone now. Oh well, as long as the new blood keeps flowing. Mind you, look at the problems that have cropped us since the new format. Probably just a coincidence though.

Am I arrogant? Probably, wouldn't be the first time someone accused me of that. I think in order to be successful in business, a person needs to possess a touch of arrogance. In my personal life, I check it at the door though, as many on this board can attest. I just get my back against the wall when someone attacks me, without even completing a transaction. Is it a case of the January blues, mixed with some self preservation, and a little arrogance? Yes, it probably is. I've basically moved past Estygate, at least in the public eye.

Lawyers? Yeah, probably a little over the top, but I have indeed spoken with one. If you haven't seen Esty's blog, you should have a look. It's full of bad info, hacked up quotes, and a couple lies. Enough to make a lawyer start muttering things like "wrongful interference", and "defamation of business". I've worked far too hard in my business to just let stuff like this go, without at least weighing my options. This is my livelyhood, and I will go to the mat for it. I believe that is basic human nature.

Anyway, I am all chilled out now, at least for a while. If nothing else, Esty serves as a great motivater at the gym. Can't complete my set, I picture her face, get madder than hell, and hammer out my set. I've never lifted as much as I have this week.
