So the idea is fairly well planted in my mind and I have been doing some research on the blowthrough setup and it seems that over in the UK turbo blowthroughs are more common and can be found on cars like triumphs, mini's and early lotus models. They use Dellorto DHLA 45mm carbs were specially made for blowthrough turbo setup and includes sealed throttle shafts, rubber gaskets and a special power jet circuit to feed more fuel at top end. With blow-through it is possible to lean out at high revs so this circuit enables to feed additional fuel based on air flow at carb mouth. Now here comes the big part, will these work on an M10? Does anyone have experience with these? Does anyone have these, know were I can find them? Thanks for the help

I'd imagine on a Carb based turbo, consistant air pressure is important. Most tuners us a blow off valve w/ springs for different pressure settings. Is this what you mean by blow through? I'd think you'd need a blow off valve to regulate the pressue right before the air gets sucked into the carbs. An inconsistant pressure would probably be bad. I'm curious about these setups too, but have little experience with turbo setups. I kinda learned some form a roomate who built Mitsubishi 4G63 turbo engines. Anyone put one of those into an 02? The dsm 4g63 has the potential to produce 500+ HP using a 4 banger and an intercooled turbo setup. Would be a fun project I think, an AWD BMW 2002, using the parts out of a mid 90s Mitusbishi all wheel drive turbo. The engine bays are kinda similar, you would just have to make room for the extra FWD transmission though, new drive shaft, steering and braking issues etc, but the tuner guys would be impressed.
