What size bolt do I need to plug up the hole on the exhaust manifold where the EGR air pump connects to?

THanks

take a penny and shave off some of the outer edge to get the right diameter. (Use a 1982 or newer penny, zinc core.) I forget the part number, but I believe it's a Tii nut that works.

I have a (feels like a) 22mm nut on my car. Sorry.

it's a real bitch getting the thing disconnected from the exhaust manifold

i have 2 x 24mm wrenches set up, but can't seem to knock it off

do you remove the larger nut from the smaller one, or do both come off ?

I'm retarded. I was posting about the INTAKE part that nneds to be plugged.

I still have part of it connected to the exhaust manifold, but it was plugged. I had an expert do it for me.

so let me get this straight

you used a penny?

i take it you remove the nut from the exhaust manifold, put the penny inside that, and then tightened the nut onto the exhaust?

i suppose i could do that. gotta get out my little dremel to make it fit.

all i gotta do now is get a bolt to fit into the stock egr attachment that fits to the intake manifold, and plug that up.

Yes, a penny for this part. NOT the exhaust part.
