E21 radiator install

I'm about to install an e21 radiator and have the info on mounting but...... I've heard that I'll need an e21 lower rad hose. Is this true?

Anything else I'll need?

New thermostat and temp sensor going in also.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

If I remember correctly you need the e21 lower hose and trim it a little. No other special parts. The new stat and sender is a good idea. Beaner7102

the lower hose has to be *shortened* ! ! ! short (2-3") piece of 1.5" (or so.. dont quote me) OD steel or plastic tubing to make a coupler, and two more hoseclamps. You need to take out.... uh,,, its been a while,,, maybe an inch to three inches of hose length (dont quote me :P) right in the middle. easy enough to guestimate just by lookin at it... once the rad is mounted.. ;)
