I found a orange 1973 tii in north Seattle. I have driven past it several times on my wayto and from work.

Since it hadn't moved for the last couple of months I stopped to leave my card on the windsheald.

The car looked to be in nice condition with very little visible rust. Nice interior, wheels and nice paint. Just as I was leaving I walked around the car and the driver's side door and the area just behind the door had been bashed in. Probably the rocker panel as well.

It had either been "t-boned" or had slid sideways into something. Very sad. Is there any hope left for a car like this where the frame each side of the door has been damaged?

My advice would be to walk away from it. Yes it's sad to see a rare car like a tii with accident damage but to fix it would be extremely expensive. Also, once you start tearing it apart I'm sure you will find rust or other issues that need attention as well, which will add to the bill.

Could make for a nice parts car. If its totalled you could get it pretty cheap. Worth a try. Beaner7102

It's on about N 120th south of the grade school just south of Haller Lake. There is a freeway overpass from North Gate to the Haller Lake area as you pass over the freeway heading north drive stright (west) one block. It'll be on your right. Looks good from the street. The damage is on the house side of the car.
