Hi all, I am getting ready to place my order for the goods to rebuild and rejet my 32/36 --And I have some questions:

I have a Water Choke (DGAV?) now but I recently purchased the Weber kit to convert it over to a manual choke. Because of this, which rebuild kit do I purchase along with these bits from the prescription? :

Float Level 40mm

PRIMARY

idle 60

main 140

air correction 145

SECONDARY

idle 55

main 170

air correction 175

Thanks in advance,

Ben

....the 'rebuild' kit is the same , water choke or manual choke.

all the jets are available from ecxellent Pierce Manifolds WEBER

supply in Calif - see their site and link below.

personally, I prefer a well adjusted water choke, but manual pull

is ok provided one understands air/fuel mixtures, motor running 'heavy'

feeling, 'four-stroking' and you lean it out in the correct time.

The jet sizes you list are my suggestion and I promise excellent improvement and smooth power delivery - But !

adjust valves, set dwell & timing with a timing light, have good compression, freely operationg linkage that is opening fully, before hand

for optimum results. Have Fun & Protect Yer Eyes.

How do I know if I have brass or plastic? Can they tell from my carb #?

My 68 2002 has no provision to hook up a water choke, it seems.

previously in SoCal, I guess they didn't care too much about chokin'

Thanks for the advice!!

Ben
