engine and drivetrain Recommended 2002 specialists??

Hello,

I am new to this forum and am very impressed with the wealth of information to be found in the archive!! , I am actually from oversees in sunny old england. Anyway I am hoping you can help me, I have just purchased a 1972 2002tii which I will be racing this year and am looking to improve it in various areas I have noticed that America seem to have a much better selection of race parts on offer compared to the uk. Can you advise who to use and who to stay away from please?? I have looked so far at ireland engineering/ top end performance/ Korman ???

Have you tried Jaymac? They are in the UK and specialize in 2002s. I believe they have stuff for racing as well. Check them out here: http://www.jaymic.com/ I've never dealt with them personally but I know others here have. Otherwise, Ireland engineering is a good place as well as Greenfield Imported Car Parts in Massachusetts (www.gicp.com). These are the places I've dealt with and both I've had good experiances with.
