I don't get anything out of the high beam headlights on my 76. Lows work fine, switch feels like it's moving OK (was replaced about 2 years ago). I seem to remember reading that the headlights aren't fused. Is there a relay I should be looking at, or could I be due for another turn signal/high beam switch?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty much interchangeable relays (3) left fender above the battery box-----swap around and isolate your relay problem

CLEAN ALL THE FUSES IN THEIR HOLDERS -

but first disconnect the battery !!!

mine does the same thing every 10 months -

it's just a weak- loose squeeze of the fuses .

Clean the metal fingers and replace the fuses if over 10

years old.

I 2nd c.d.deisels post..

I recently went throught the same thing. I pulled my blinker/light switch apart (very very fiddly) only to find nothing was wrong. The switch has a very simple mechanism unlikely to break. There should be no relay in the circuit (other than the one that turns of the lowbeam as the high engages). Just refurbish every connection and they will start working again. mine worked but only at 8volts. After I cleaned every connection I got a good 12vlts going to the lights

Thanks, guys. Now if I could get a few minutes of daylight to work on the car, I might make some progress.
