...will keep die hard car nuts from driving.

Most of the country saw the news coverage of the flooding and levee breaks and mudslides in Northern California. Well, all the crap going on didn't keep us from driving the Anti-football Run that day.

Mostly vintage cars, however it was an open event and there were also newer cars allowed as well. A whole gaggle of Alfas and a small contingent of BMWs including three 02's. The weather sucked most all day, so there was far too little smoozing going on. It was more run from your car to get indoors. I never did have to switch to chains, the mud and snow tires were fine.

Some pretty good roads(the ones that weren't closed) and I thoroughly enjoyed the multitude of water and mud crossings that the organizers included. The only major traffic jam came when one Porsche lifted slightly in a turn and as he hit the mud he came to rest in the ditch.

With all the crappy weather, my co-driver only snapped a couple of pics. This one seems to be a familiar view for me whenever the roads turn rough.
