Word on the street is that a zip tie will foul a head gasket.

I'm just wondering about the most cost effective way to fix one.

Anyone tried that seal a gasket stuff…thermagasket?

My temp needle has been moving around lately and I'm thinking along the lines of worse case scenario?

Dont' bother with that stuff.

Try a leak down and compression test to at least try to figure out if the gasket is bad. Also check oil/water consumption and look for mixing (oil in coolant or vice versa).

I'd look at the radiator/thermostat first. That is usually the problem.
