Reverse Light Switch

My reverse lights work but the wire from the switch is broken. I need to reattach to the reverse light switch- can anyone tell me where it is? I thought it would be on the tranny but I couldn't find it.

Lying under the car & looking forward, the reverse light switch is on top of the tranny and on the left (driver) side. It's a little tight if you have big hands, but it's easy to connect...there's a two-pronged spade connector that slips over the male terminals on the switch.

There are two wires that run to the switch, it is located on the side of the trns, it's been awhile since I've been under there so I don't remember which but I think it's the left side...steve
