After so many years of ranting of not getting car related stuff ( my family totaly ignores numerous hints, cry for helps etc..) I was ranting and complaining on how I always end up getting something else other than car stuff (even as we were opening our gifts)...some one HEARD... hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.... my turn...someone snuk it in the house before I knew it... 155 pcs. tool set . Now that single person deserves all the kisses and hugs I could give... not the fact it was only a tool set, the fact someone listened paid attention and got me something I can really really use... will post pics later

Its an RC car. The real body that came with the kit is an E30 M3, but since i had never done a body I wanted something to practice on. I'll post pics when i get the M3 body on. It will look something like this:

My hints worked fairly well this year. Got a new Dremel (to replace my worn-out Black & Decker copy), new multimeter (old one stopped functioning altogether), a mountaineering-type headlamp for those times when I need 3 hands, two to work and one to hold the flashlight (when the work light just doenn't seem to quite light the area you need lighted), and a Sirius radio set-up.

My wife got me an autodarkening welding helmet, a shop stool, a stereo for the shop, 6-Ton Jackstands and a Red E46 325CI! The boys got me CD's for the new car and a BMWCCA Membership. The girls got me lots of candy (as if I wasn't fat enough already). I'm a very blessed man.

Mom went to BMP and ordered the following:

BMW baseball cap

BMW T-Shirt

BMW driving gloves

Oil pressure gauge

Turbo boost gauge

Vacuum gauge

I thanked her and kindly explained to her that my car didn't have a turbo on it. No big deal as I will swap the boost and vacuum gauges for an oil temp gauge and either an amp or voltage gauge.

My wife simply wished me a Merry X-mas and said that she was sure that I had some '02 items that I could go get myself. Looks like I have a free purchase pass for awhile.
