Should be interesting to see what this one goes for at the auction next month. It looks pretty sweet, despite the fact that they have it listed as a 6 cyl. I think this is the first '02 I have seen at Barrett Jackson.

Anybody here belong to this car? Knowing how the bidders tend to over-pay, it should be interesting to see what "the best 1973 2002 BMW around" goes for. Anybody care to guess?

Maybe it is a good thing I will be leaving Phoenix on Jan 8, before the auction gets started ;)

Why don't people shut their doors when they take pictures of their cars? I mean, COME ON! These pictures are for an auction?

I guess the best means it only needs one windshield wiper to work too?

As for the car?....others have caught the obvious flaws. I seriously doubt cars like this will even catch any television time at the B-J Auction. If it does?....it will be interesting to see what this Sahara '02 brings...looks to be a fairly well presented car (but needs some obvious work).

Muscle cars bring serious money, as do expensive and rare imports....a 2002 that was not expensive even when new?...and with over 400,000 produced? I doubt it will bring much honestly.

It will be cool to see it up on the stage however and observe the bidding! I wish the owner well, but I wouldn't get my hopes up to high!

I saw a VW split window bus get sold for $99 000! There were more of them produced I think.

I saw that VW as well. I thought I read somewhere that it had low miles and an owner that washed and waxed the thing after nearly every drive! Could be true.

The 02 pictured sure is nice looking, but time with wax and polish and a bunch of cars look good. I suppose if someone pays big dollars it is good for those of us that own these cars, but bad on the other hand as even crappy cars value will go up, and the price of entry to new projects will get more expensive.
