Well its another monday at work and here are your nightly pic's of andys car going togeather. The large Alpina header thats suposed to fit well hits the steering linkage. Andy do you mind just turning left like the rednecks do (NASCAR), yes its a road course this weekend.

Slamed YO!!!

OK I am sure some of you are wondering about this mount setup. Greg took an e30 mount rewelded it and set it up for a 4 bolt in setup.

With gray accents the silver in the trim is picked up from the stripes and into the drive shaft.

The center mount is hte original. There is no need to move it when the drive shaft is cut for the close ratio 5 speed. The header was not made properly and we are having to modify it to clear the steering. a ceramic coating realy isnt nessary when its flowing this fast. Its a bit more heat but not enough on a NON-race car. (ie this car isnt cagedd and wont be trying to run down e46 M3s at VIR). I am bringing my big torches today cause the little one doesnt have enough heat.

id take it. youre looking at taking ambient air and heating it a good additional 75-100degrees JUST as a result of the blower compression, then the heat of the head, and THEN the heat of the actual engine compression. is Greg going to work out a cold-air intake? VERY worth it in that application! :)
